Chemical peels are a professional skin treatment designed to gently exfoliate the skin, encouraging healthy cell turnover while improving overall skin tone and texture.
At Vissi Aesthetics, every peel is selected based on your skin type, concerns and goals. Whether you’re looking to brighten dull skin, improve pigmentation or support healthy ageing, we’ll create a personalised treatment plan to help you achieve long term skin health.
Healthy skin starts with the right treatment for your individual skin.
Chemical Peels
Reveal Brighter, Healthier Looking Skin
-
A chemical peel is a professional treatment that uses carefully selected exfoliating ingredients to remove damaged surface skin cells and stimulate skin renewal.
Different peels target different concerns, allowing treatment to be customised to your individual skin needs.
Following treatment, your skin continues renewing itself over the following days, revealing a fresher and healthier looking complexion.
-
Chemical peels may be suitable for improving:
Pigmentation
Sun damage
Uneven skin tone
Dull skin
Acne
Mild acne scarring
Fine lines
Rough skin texture
During your consultation we’ll assess your skin and determine whether a chemical peel is the most appropriate treatment for your concerns.
-
Your appointment begins with a skin assessment to discuss your concerns and evaluate your skin.
A professional peel is then selected based on your skin type and treatment goals before being carefully applied according to the manufacturer’s treatment protocol.
After treatment you’ll receive personalised aftercare advice and skincare recommendations to support healing and optimise your results.
-
Many skin concerns respond best to a series of treatments rather than a single appointment.
Depending on your goals, we may recommend a course of treatments between 3-6 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart followed by maintenance treatments throughout the year.
Your personalised treatment plan will be discussed during your consultation.
-
Not every chemical peel results in visible peeling.
Some people experience mild flaking while others notice little to no peeling despite the treatment working effectively beneath the surface.
The amount of peeling depends on your skin, the type of peel performed and your treatment goals.
We offer peels where the goal is hydration and no peeling will be visible while another more intense peel designed for reducing pigmentation will cause more intense peeling and dry skin for up to a week.
-
Every treatment at Vissi Aesthetics is tailored to your individual skin rather than following a one size fits all approach.
